Merino has unique properties to retain heat while efficiently wicking away excess moisture. It dries quickly, creates a pleasant touch to the skin, as it continues to warm even when the garment is wet, and thanks to the natural antibacterial properties of this material, it does not retain unpleasant odors. In the CampingRocks store you will find base layer shirts (with a zip neck or a standard round neckline) with different densities: from 235 g/sq.m (suitable for mountain expeditions in very cold weather) to 150 g/sq.m (suitable for protection from the sun's rays during summer walks). Despite the fine mesh, where the thickness of the fiber does not reach the threshold for the activation of skin receptors, some customers prefer even finer and softer fabrics - if this is the case for you - you can look into our two-layer models, where the inner layer has synthetic impurities.
