Headlamp Nitecore HC65 UHE 2000 LM Rechargeable Skyline Grey

We present to you a powerful headlamp from Nitecore with a maximum intensity of 2000 lumens. Relatively lightweight (152 g) and equipped with a durable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh, the NC65 is an excellent choice for climbing, cycling, camping, trekking, mountaineering, and rescue operations in the mountains.

Nitecore is part of the SYSMAX organization, which focuses on developing new LED technologies. Together, Nitecore and NiteLab have created the UHi (or UHE – Ultra High Efficiency) LED series, specifically designed for flashlights and spotlights. UHE products utilize high beam intensities and increase light density by enhancing the light-emitting surface (LES). This results in an optimal lighting effect and a wider illumination range. UHi LEDs offer next-generation light sources poised to dominate the headlamp and flashlight market, catering to both professional and conventional use.

The HC65 is part of the UHE series by the brand. This series stands out with an ultra-minimalist design featuring a light-emitting surface of just 2.26 mm² (41% smaller than that of standard LED spotlights, which have an average surface area of 3.83 mm²). At the same time, it offers a density of 876 lumens/mm², 43% higher than the average density of standard LED spotlights, which typically reach only 611 lumens/mm². As a result, UHE products deliver much more powerful and concentrated light compared to other products with the same or similar intensity.

They enhance the efficiency of the light source per watt of power, with UHE LEDs offering 21% brighter light (190 Lm/W) compared to standard SST 40 LEDs (157 Lm/W). This model uses an 8-core LED system, allowing it to achieve a maximum light intensity of 2000 lumens, with a reflective surface area of 509 mm²—2.2 times larger than single-core systems.

The HC65 provides a smooth light beam, and thanks to TrueVision technology, it eliminates the central hotspot, delivering balanced illumination. This makes it an ideal solution for search and rescue, emergencies, construction, and walking. It is the first headlamp to combine TrueVision technology with an 8-core LED system.

For enhanced safety during nighttime sports, the HC65 headlamp offers a stereoscopic view due to its larger light-emitting surface (42 mm) compared to its predecessor, the HC65 V2 (17 mm). This brings it closer to human vision, providing a sharper nighttime image.

The headlamp also features an additional red light (with three modes) that operates independently, as well as an auxiliary CRI white light (with two modes), suitable for close-range activities and reading.

This Nitecore model comes with a built-in 4000 mAh 18650 Li-ion battery, providing up to 14 hours of runtime at 400 lumens and an impressive 31 hours at 100 lumens. It can be charged on the go, even in the rain, with full charging taking only 2 hours. On the left side of the display, there is a battery level indicator with four lights, similar to power bank systems:

• 4 steady lights: 75–100% charged
• 3 lights: 50–75%
• 2 lights: 25–50%
• 1 light: 0–25%

The interface features two buttons that are easy to operate. For safety, you can "lock" the headlamp by pressing both buttons for 2 seconds while it is off, preventing accidental activation during transport.

The HC65 is shock-resistant and waterproof (IP68), capable of withstanding drops from 2 meters and heavy rain.
