Headlamp Nitecore NU27 600 LM Rechargeable Yellow

Nitecore is part of the SYSMAX organization, which focuses on developing innovative LED technologies. In collaboration with NiteLab, Nitecore has created the UHi (or UHE – Ultra High Efficiency) LED series, specifically designed for flashlights and spotlights. UHi products utilize high beam intensities and increase light density by enhancing the light-emitting surface (LES). This achieves optimal lighting effects and a greater illumination range.

UHi LEDs offer next-generation light sources poised to dominate the headlamp and flashlight market for both professional and everyday use. The NU27 is part of the brand's UHE series, which stands out for its ultra-minimalist design featuring a lighting area of just 2.26 mm²—41% smaller than the typical 3.83 mm² area of conventional LED spotlights. At the same time, it delivers a density of 876 lumens/mm², which is 43% higher than the average 611 lumens/mm² of standard LED spotlights. As a result, UHi products provide much more powerful and focused lighting compared to other products with the same or similar intensity.

The NU27 is the brand's first headlamp featuring UHE LEDs and also incorporates the innovative MCT (Multiple Color Temperatures) technology. The emitted light varies in temperature depending on conditions, ranging from 3000K (warm) to 6500K (cool, white light). This technology integrates 8-core MCT UHE LED lights in a matrix with three primary color temperatures: 3000K, 4500K, and 6500K.

This can entirely transform your experience in mountain environments. The 4500K (neutral white light) provides a soft, clean, and naturally looking landscape ideal for various forest activities. Warm light (3000K) has the remarkable ability to penetrate fog and rain while avoiding glare and snow reflections. Cool light (6500K) mimics midday sunlight, helping you feel more alert and refreshed during long treks or ultramarathon runs.

The NU27 features a wide beam with a 50.3 mm light-emitting surface, creating a clear 3D image that enhances orientation in the dark. Its beam is smooth, and thanks to TrueVision technology, it eliminates central hotspots, producing balanced light. This makes it an excellent choice for search and rescue operations, emergencies, construction work, and hiking. The headlamp also includes an additional red light (with two modes) that operates independently, as well as a CRI white light, ideal for close-range tasks such as reading.

The package includes a clip for easily attaching the headlamp when not using the headband. You can attach it to a cap, shoulder strap, or backpack—whichever is most convenient for you.

This Nitecore model features a built-in 850mAh (3.85V) Li-ion battery, offering a runtime of 6.5 hours at 200 lumens and up to 57 hours in Ultralow mode (6 lumens). The battery can be recharged while on the move.

On the right side of the display, there is a light indicator that shows the battery level, similar to power bank systems. The indicator has four lights:

• 4 steady lights: 75-100% charged
• 3 lights: 50-75% charged
• 2 lights: 25-50% charged
• 1 light: 0-25% charged

This makes it easy to monitor the battery status at a glance.

The interface features two buttons, making it easy to operate. You can also "lock" the headlamp by pressing and holding both buttons for 2 seconds while it's turned off, preventing accidental activation during transport.

The NU27 is shock-resistant and waterproof with an IP66 rating, capable of withstanding drops from 1 meter and heavy rain.

The package also includes a pouch that allows you to convert the headlamp into a camping lantern, adding even more versatility to its functionality.
