The Osprey Stratos 44L hiking backpack features an innovative ergonomic and very lightweight AirSpeed Backpanel, which uses 3D foam with a breathable mesh (in this new design, the ventilation area is over 40% larger compared to previous models). This backpanel prevents shifting and evenly distributes weight, alleviating stress on the shoulders and lower back. It also reduces the overall weight of the backpack, allowing for faster-paced hikes. The backpanel is adjustable in torso length to fit individual preferences. The LightWire frame increases comfort and stability.

The Stratos 44L backpack has adjustable chest and hip belts with soft padding. The chest belt includes an integrated emergency whistle, and the hip belt is equipped with two easy-access zippered pockets. It uses the ErgoPull technology, which ensures a more comfortable fit and optimal weight distribution when tightened.
