With a capacity of 25 litres, this bag is compact yet roomy enough to carry everything you need for a day’s outing. The large main compartment can be zipped open completely, so it’s easy to access all your gear – even the lunch box that is stowed away right at the bottom. When you zip open the main compartment, you will find a handy inner compartment for smaller belongings such as chargers or mobile phone and you can also keep your keys safe on the key clip provided. And there’s more – check out the zip on the front which gives access to yet another useful compartment. This bag is roomy enough to transport a laptop and is compatible with the Nomad 15.4 inch laptop sleeve. It weighs only 735 grams, so adds hardly any extra weight.

The shoulder straps of the Montagon Premium 25 have an ergonomic design that follows the shape of your body, making this bag very comfortable to carry. The clever design of the back with its vertical panels ensures effective support as well as dissipating warmth in the event of physical effort, so the bag is ideal for warm weather or if you are exerting yourself during a cycling trip or a long hike. The shoulder straps incorporate a chest strap that helps to keep them in place; if the shoulder straps move too near to your arm, you are liable to assume a crooked posture, which could easily lead to back problems. The chest strap includes a safety whistle, and can easily be adjusted or detached if you don’t need it. The bag also has an adjustable and removable waist strap to improve stability.

The Montagon Premium 25 features a handy drinking system compatible with any type of water bag. On the inside of the back panel you will find a sleeve pocket with a suspension point above it to which you can attach a water bag. Under the handle on the top of the bag there is an opening through which you can feed the tube from the water bag. Guide the tube under the elastic loop on the shoulder strap and click the mouth piece onto the small clip on the chest strap so your drinking tube is always to hand! If you are travelling by bike, there is a handy aluminium hook on top of the Montagon 25 for your bicycle helmet. There is a space for bicycle lamps at the bottom of the bag, where there is also a reflective element ensuring additional visibility in the dark. The bag also has elastic side compartments on either side for another drinking bottle or other small items. The signal rain sleeve supplied with the bag may come in handy if you happen to get caught in a shower of rain; you will find it behind a small zip in the lower part of the bag. The bag also has an adjustable elastic cord across the front for carrying a sweater or jacket.
