Outwell Crossville 250SA Drive-Away Air Awning

The Outwell Crossville 250SA Drive-Away Air Awning is a combination of an awning and a free-standing tent, equipped with all the safety and comfort systems of the Danish brand Outwell. The Crossville 250SA Drive-Away Air Awning is one of the most compact models in the Superior Air collection of the Danish manufacturer, and can be quickly and easily attached to the side door of a minibus, van, or campervan. It can also remain free-standing when you decide to take your vehicle on a short trip.

The construction of the Outwell Crossville 250SA Drive-Away Air Awning is exceptionally sturdy, built with inflatable tubes that can be inflated very quickly and easily. Thanks to its aerodynamic inflatable design, the tent can withstand wind gusts of up to 88 km/h.

The Outwell Crossville 250SA Drive-Away Air Awning features two main entrances (positioned opposite each other), which can be kept partially or fully open/closed. They are equipped with panoramic tinted windows with covers and large mosquito nets underneath. On the side, there is an additional side entrance with a large tinted window (with a cover) and a full mosquito net below it.

The other side entrance is a solid wall with an extension (awning), which can be kept open or closed, or connected to a minibus, van, or campervan with a height between 175 – 200 cm, forming a warm and weatherproof link between the tent and the vehicle. Both main entrances also include additional canopy covers, which can be set up using the included Duratec fibreglass poles, providing extra protection during rainy weather.

The main fabric of the Outwell Crossville 250SA Drive-Away Air Awning is made from waterproof Outtex 6000 Express RS polyester with a 6,000 mm hydrostatic head, UPF 30+ sun protection, and taped seams, ensuring complete protection regardless of the weather conditions. The floor is also fully waterproof, made from double-coated polyethylene, sewn to the main fabric to shield you from environmental elements.

The Outwell Crossville 250SA Drive-Away Air Awning can be used independently as a shelter or tent, or easily and quickly connected to various vehicles such as minibuses, vans, or campervans with a roof height between 175 cm and 200 cm. You can attach it to the vehicle using one of the following methods:

• Using the sewn-in straps at the end of the awning (the simplest and easiest way to connect);
• Using sewn-in Velcro strips that attach to the roof bars of the vehicle (if roof bars are installed);
• By sliding the awning fabric into the vehicle’s roof rail, which many campervan models include;
• Via a magnetic system developed by Outwell (sold separately).

A key advantage of this tent-awning model from Outwell is that its structure can be detached from the vehicle, fully closed, and used as a freestanding tent or shelter. Thanks to the Drive Away Ready system, you can quickly and easily disconnect the tent from the vehicle and reconnect it instantly whenever needed.
