The inflatable Outwell Touring Shelter Air is a lightweight and compact shelter, equipped with all the safety and comfort systems of the Danish brand Outwell. A bestseller in Outwell's Touring collection, the Touring Shelter Air can be quickly and easily attached along the side of an SUV, campervan, van, or motorhome with a roof height between 175–200 cm and a length of 250 cm.
The structure of the Outwell Touring Shelter Air is exceptionally sturdy, consisting of a PVC-inflated tube encased in fabric. It inflates quickly and easily through a multifunction valve that allows precise adjustment of air pressure inside the tube. Inflation takes no more than 1–2 minutes using the supplied hand pump, while deflation is instant with the push of a dedicated release valve.
The Outwell Touring Shelter Air features a large central entrance with side panels that can be fully closed or half-opened, complete with panoramic tinted windows for added visibility and privacy. The main fabric is made from Outtex® 4000 Select waterproof polyester with a 4,000 mm hydrostatic head, UPF 30+ UV protection, and taped seams, ensuring excellent shelter and weather resistance in any conditions.
The Outwell Touring Shelter Air can be quickly and easily connected to a variety of vehicles - including SUVs, campervans, vans, and motorhomes - with a roof height between 175 cm and 200 cm and a length of 250 cm. Several attachment methods are available for connecting the awning to your vehicle:
- Using straps secured to the vehicle’s roof bars
- Threading the awning’s beading (7 mm/5 mm) into the vehicle’s roof rail (many campervan models come equipped with such a rail)
- With the Outwell magnetic connection system (sold separately)
- Using guy lines sewn into the edge of the awning (the simplest method)
