Designed with families and active people in mind, the Whitby Beach Shelter combines functionality, lightness and durable materials, making it the ideal alternative to sun umbrellas when you are on a beach vacation.
Using a semi-dome-like construction, the Whitby beach shelter is very quick to set up and take down, even by one person. It uses an Outtex UV polyester fabric cover with UPF 50+ protection, protecting you and your family from harmful UV rays. The stable frame of Duratec fiberglass poles also provides excellent wind resistance - great for windy beach days. For additional stability, pockets have been added in each corner that can be filled with sand.
Despite the compact dimensions when folded, the Whitby Beach beach shelter offers enough space for 2 adults + a child to sit or lie comfortably on the beach. This type of beach awning is an ideal way to create a shady play area for the kids or a place to store your beach gear.
The integrated floor can be attached to the outer structure and thus completely close the shelter. This is a very useful solution in case you want to be alone, change clothes in peace or store all your belongings in a dry and safe place when you are not using the beach shelter.
