The new Lava series by Bergans of Norway consists of multifunctional and thermally insulating jackets designed for hiking and everyday use. These lightweight and comfortable jackets, filled with recycled down, have excellent insulating properties, as well as a wind and water resistant outer material, so as to guarantee protection during the cold winter months.

Lava Light Down is a light and compact down jacket, perfect for hiking and for everyday walks in the city. 100% recycled goose down (RE:DOWN) with a weight of 60 g/m2 was used for filling (insulation). The filling ratio is 80/20, which means 80% down and 20% feathers, with a fill power of 550 cuin. With a regular fit and extended back, the Lava Light Down Down Jacket features afixed hood and high collar that provide great head and neck protection as you fight your way through the cold winds. Lava Light Down's windproof outer layer is made from recycled polyamide and has a water-repellent coating.

This down jacket can be worn as a second (intermediate) layer under a hardshell jacket or as a final (outer) layer. Lava is an extremely light and compressible jacket, with one of the front pockets that can be used as a compression pocket. Elastic cuffs on the sleeves, a two-way zip and side pockets that do not interfere with the hip belt of your backpack, complete the functionality of this Bergans jacket model.
