Designed specifically for mountaineering and trekking in bad and wet weather, the Bergans of Norway Rabot V2 3L three-layer hardshell pant has everything you need to get you through the strongest winds and heaviest rain without steaming up on the move.

The model is part of the Rabot series of the brand – the jackets and pants of this series are focused on the requirements of true mountain lovers who do not hesitate to exercise and move even when the forecast is not perfect. Refined to the last detail and equipped with the most high-tech fabrics on the market, Rabot products are designed for trekking, high mountain sports, mountaineering, ski touring and expeditions all year round. The entire series relies on the concept of layering, aiming for an optimal balance between breathability and protection.

The fabric of the Rabot V2 3L offers a perfect balance between comfort and strength - it is light and softer than classic hardshell fabrics, while being strong and resistant to wear. The pants use a 3-layer Bega Membrane Breathe™ membrane that provides a 20,000 mm water column and breathability up to 30,000 g/sq.m/24h.

This membrane was developed by Bergans of Norway and you can find it in two versions: Bega Breathe - lightweight and with a focus on the breathability of the fabric in the trekking and intensive movement series and Bega Bold Pro - in the ski touring winter collections of the brand, where it is included in more rigid fabrics for winter sports. In the Rabot V2 3L hardshell pants, Bergans incorporate a Bega Breathe membrane, and the outer and inner layers are made of 100% recycled polyamide – an advantage over products made of polyester, as polyamide fabrics provide better elasticity and freedom of movement. In the waist area, the Rabot V2 3L has a soft moisture-absorbing inner material.

Long ventilation openings on the outside of the legs allow quick and easy dressing as well as effective ventilation when moving actively. The legs are reinforced for a comfortable fit with alpine cats and are adjustable in width so you can match the pant with different shoes. The Rabot V2 3L has two front zipped pockets and a thigh pocket. In addition to buttons, the waist is adjustable with Velcro, and if you want to put on a belt, there are nuts provided. In the thigh area, the technology is seamless so that there is no chafing in case you wear the pants without thermal underwear.
