When developing functional shell clothing for ski touring, it is important to find the intersection between low weight, weather protection and ventilation on the one hand, and durability and details on the other. Bergans has chieved this goal with the Senja 3L Pants! 

The serious experience of the Norwegians in the development of protective and practical clothing for ski touring as well as the remarkable 3-layer Dermizax NX material used on the Senja 3L Pants is what makes it so special.  With these shell pants, Bergans has mastered the challenge to achive a durable yet breathable material by combining two types of the excellent shell material Dermizax NX. A lighter quality fabric covers the back of the calves and the top front, while a more sturdy, durable and protective fabric covers the buttocks, thighs, knees and the front of the legs. Both offer excellent weather protection and moisture transport. (Water column = at least 20,000 mm / moisture transport = more than 40,000 g / m2 / 24 hours). 

The well thought out details really make this a great option for anybody who wants to be active in the mountains. Long ventilation zips with three slide handles along the sides of the legs make it easier to find the optimal ventilation level. Thanks to these zippers, the trousers can also be put on and taken off with shoes on. Velcro fasteners on the waistband make it easy to adjust the size, even with gloves on. The Senja 3L Pants are also equipped with an inside pocket with a safety flap, front pockets with zippers and gaiters fixed on the inside.
