The tread pattern of the outsole is based on the legendary MICHELIN X-Ice Xi3 winter tire, with Cross Z Sipes that provide traction on ice and wide grooves for excellent water evacuation and flexibility. The midsole is EVA, and since EVA foam is difficult to recycle, 20% is replaced by the so-called BLOOM foam, obtained from algae, harmful to the oceans, but allowing the production of foam with the same properties of shock absorption and lightness as EVA. The BLOOM foam EVA is lined with Woolpower recycled merino wool felt.
