This model is an ultralight (74g), waterproof (IP66) hybrid-powered headgear designed for professional mountain runners and for general use. The main operating modes are a warm and bright 3000K LED light with a power of 500 lumens (up to 2.5 hours), a cold 6500K wide-range light with a power of 500 lumens (up to 2.5 hours) and a red light 10 lumens (up to 40 hours). The headlamp is powered by a rechargeable HLB1300 Li-ion battery (a second battery is included), which can be removed and recharged in an hour and a half outside the main body or replaced by 3 AAA batteries. The warm light is particularly suitable for foggy and rainy weather, minimizing glare and irritating reflections. The second main mode is a cold 6500K light with a visual range of 132 meters and a power of 500 lumens, lasting up to 2.5 hours of operation. In addition, a red light is also available, with a flashing mode option. The angle of the illumination beam can be adjusted within 90 degrees. The Nitecore UT27 is equipped with a rechargeable HLB1300 lithium-ion battery with a built-in USB-C charging jack. The battery can be removed and recharged outside the main body in an hour and a half. While the battery is being recharged, it can be replaced in the headlamp with the included second battery or with three AAA batteries. The headlamp runs longer and with better lighting with the HLB1300 lithium-ion battery. A great convenience is the glow-in-the-dark battery case, which allows changing the battery even in the dark.
