Light, precise and comfortable, it allows you to pedal comfortably, without pressure on the foot, and guarantees maximum grip on the ground. For effective water protection, Grimpeur AD GTX has a waterproof Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane, which maintains the most favorable microclimate. This type of Gore-Tex is mainly used in the production of shoes for intense outdoor sports in warm and moderately cold weather, combining exceptional water resistance with effective ventilation.
The Vibram Gravity sole provides outstanding traction on all surfaces, on both dry and wet ground, whilst ensuring sure-fire grip on pedals thanks to the use of super-sticky Megagrip compound.Plus, the anti-clog lug pattern ensures trail debris is shedded easily while walking. The shoe features a rigid moulded insole, to give structure and protection to the foot both while pedalling and climbing, while the EVA midsole provides enhanced shock absorption.
The lightweight, robust upper is crafted from breathable mesh with stitch-free polyurethane overmoulds which ensure the foot is cradled snugly and increase the durability of the shoe. The high-performance rubber toe bumper provides excellent abrasion protection.
