The Magma Medium Down Jacket W/Hood is a full-featured down performance jacket carefully engineered for cold, if not freezing, outdoor adventures. The jacket is made from handpicked materials, all selected for their performance and sustainability characteristics. The main material, recycled polyamide, is windproof and filled with high-quality, fully recycled down (RE:DOWN) with a weight of 120 g/m2 on the torso and 140 g/m2on the sleeves and shoulders, The outer material got its water-repellent properties in a PFAS-free treatment. By using two different construction methods, this piece ensures a perfect heat balance. Box baffle construction provides premium insulation where needed, while quilted insulation benefits elsewhere.
The Magma Medium Down Jacket features a fixed hood and high collar that provide great head and neck protection as you fight your way through the cold winds. This model has execellent insolation and yet is very lighweight. It is also extremely compressible jacket, with one of the pockets also serving as a compression pannier. Elastic cuffs on the sleeves, a two-way zip and side pockets that do not interfere with use with a backpack or seat belt complete the functionality of this Bergans jacket model. For your more personal valuables, you can use a zip pocket on the chest.
