It is made of high-class fabrics using Gore-Tex membrane for reliable wind and water resistance, while having also sun protection factor of UPF 50+ and an anti-mosquito treatment. The Mikras Gore-Tex Desert Hat has all the necessary extras for use both in summer and in winter. The Mikras model has a desert scarf that attaches to the hat with velcro and can be removed when not needed. Mikras has reliable wind and water protection thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane, which at the same time provides effective breathability. The hat has UV protection from the sun with a high factor of UPF 50+, and for the summer heat PAC has added an Anti Mosquito sweatband that  helps keeps ticks and mosquitoes away. The model has reflective elements to make you well visible from a distance. When you decide that you do not need the hat, you can easily fold it and put it in a special carry case, which is included in the set.

The PAC brands has moved towards eco-friendly production and conservation of natural resources, so great part of the Mikras Gore-Tex Desert hat been made of recycled polyester from PET bottles.
