8 person Robens Prospector Castle Tent

The Robens Prospector Castle tent offers compact size when packed, steel construction, and waterproof and breathable polycotton fabric. It is made for all year use, including during the winter season when you can easily install a wood oven inside it. The Prospector Castle captures the old pioneer spirit through its classic design and modern extras.

The Prospector Castle tent is suitable for eight person. Its construciton is made of connected steel tubes and durable polycotton fabric HydroTex® Polycotton (65% cotton, 35% polyester), which ensures perfect waterproofing and durability against wear. The Prospector tent offers a floor area of ​​10 sq.m. and a center height reaching up to 230 cm. Thanks to the cotton fabric used in the flysheet, there is better insulation inside which will keep the temperature in the tent several degrees higher in cold weather or several degrees lower during summer heatwaves.

The Prospector Castle tent is extremely well-ventilated, thanks to the front and rear windows, as well as the side windows on the front walls. Each of them can be left only on mosquito nets or can be fully closed with a cover. This way, you can optimize ventilation of the interior space, even with the zippers are closed. The Prospector Castle sets up easy and quickly. Securing the tent is done through the added guy ropes and tensioners, and when properly staked, the Prospector can withstand not only rain but also strong storms with wind speeds of up to 160/180 km/h.

Like the other Outback model tents by Robens, the Prospector Castle also allows for a wood-burning stove to be installed, with the roof cover featuring a chimney opening. For this purpose, Robens designers have included another functionality - the part of the floor located under the chimney opening can be opened via a zipper, creating space for the safe placement of the stove.
