The combination of low weight (only 220 grams) and high feather warmth (duck down 90/10, 600 cuin) predetermines the vest as either a thermal layer or a separate top layer. The outer fabric of the Drake vest is made from Colibri DWR - an extremely light material designed especially for equipment filled with feathers, that is treated with a DWR treatment, ensuring resistance to moisture penetration and without compromising breathability. The collar of the vest can be regulated by a elastic drawcord. Base on the integrated packaging it takes up minimal space in the backpack.
