The Viking 1200 sleeping bag is the most insulated down sleeping bag from the Viking series of the Czech brand Warmpeace. The Viking 1200 sleeping bag is made mainly for use in winter conditions, but due to its weight and volume it is very similar to a three seasonal sleeping bags. With a great ratio between weight, stuff sack size and temperature rating, this Viking sleeping bag has all you may need for a great outdoor adventure, no matter of the season.
The Warmpeace brand specializes in the production of down sleeping bags, and the Viking 1200 model has 1200 grams of high quality 90/10, 600 cuin duck down filling. The down insulation s covered by a new lightweight polyamide fabric called Loft Nylon DWR +, which is characterized by excellent breathability, wind resistance and, most importantly, a high level of water repellency. The use of Loft Nylon DWR + on the inside and outside of the sleeping bag protects the insulation from moisture, while remaining pleasant to the touch and with high compression.
The Warmpeace Viking 1200 is a lightweight and reliable four-season sleeping bag with a temperature comfort of (-10) ° C, which is suitable for use during the winter months. Thanks to the high-quality filling of down and the excellent temperature parameters, this Viking model is a very suitable sleeping bag option for multi-day hikes and climbs in the high mountains, when significant differences in night temperatures are to be expected.
