The new women's hiking boots SF Trek LC by the Austrian brand Dachstein introduce numerous innovations to the brand's bestseller SF-21 - one of the most sought-after models in CampingRocks store. With its unique design and combination of materials, SF Trek LC has been awarded at the ISPO 2023 international exhibition for outdoor equipment.
The SF Trek LC are three-season boots - equally comfortable for light hikes and for technical sections in the higher parts of the mountains. The main focus is placed on the construction of the sole, which is equipped with the so-called HIKEPLATE - a special core made of pre-melted thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) between the inner and outer sole - it provides very good stability and full control over every movement. The outer part of the sole uses a rubber material with very high grip in a clearly defined profile, which does not retain mud and sand. The result is a sole with very good grip on wet terrain and mud, allowing you to cover many kilometers without worrying about anything. The midsole uses EVA foam for effective cushioning without completely isolating you from the ground, so you can feel more confident even on difficult terrain.
The women's hiking boots SF Trek LC do not have a waterproof membrane, but perform very well in wet terrain, thanks to the outer ripstop textile, mesh material with water-repellent coating. The lack of a membrane makes the boots lighter and more breathable for the warmer part of the year, and in case of getting wet, they dry very quickly. In the ankle area, the women's hiking boots SF Trek LC use elastic fabric with water-repellent treatment, which makes them very comfortable, easy to put on, and replaces external gaiters to prevent stones, debris, and dew from entering the boot.
