Introducing Bjørnøya - a unisex wool sweater with a high collar and a beautiful two-tone design from the Norwegian manufacturer Devold of Norway. Made from 100% wool and with the look of an authentic hand-knitted sweater, Bjørnøya is a warm and cozy garment and is extremely suitable for everyday life while adding a slight vintage touch.
The Bjørnøya is a lighter version of the brand's bestseller, Svalbard, and is made so that the small remnants of the knit pass through on the inside to contribute to the sweater's great insulating properties. It is made of pure 100% new wool with a fiber thickness of 32-36 microns from specially selected Norwegian sheep. The knitting is of the Jacquard type - an innovative technology that achieves a double knitting with fibers that create microscopic air pockets and preserve body heat optimally. This type of knitting is characterized by great strength, high capacity of thermal insulation and no formation of folds when crumpled.
The vintage notes are the work of the Italian designer Olmes Caretti.
