Today, NOMAD is the most famous Dutch company specialized in the development, manufacturing and supply of products for travel, hiking and camping. It all began in a small Dutch town called Zevenaar in 1965, when a Swedish company decided to create a new line for production of synthetic quilts and sleeping bags in the Netherlands. They combined the words polyester and down, and called their company Polydaun.. Their products were colourful, original and practical, and quickly became the largest production line of sleeping bags in Europe. Just a few years later, in 1978, from the production of sleeping bags the company NOMAD was born, which presented to the market the world-famous 3D Polarsoft filling and started producing compact, lightweight and affordable sleeping bags. Today, the company has more than 8 million produced sleeping bags. The NOMAD brand gradually began to develop new product lines and offer other practical items needed for travels and camping trips. Over the past 40 years many NOMAD products have been part of different expeditions,  climbing and trekking trips as well as ocean sailing competitions.

Regardless of the changes and development, from the beginning until today, the backbone of the company NOMAD has always remained the same "nomadic" - fully independent and always on the move to meet any adventure that awaits.

The NOMAD brand relates to "premium" travel and camping equipment - sleeping bags, airbeds, tents, bags, backpacks and travel clothing with very high quality. NOMAD  products are made to be easy to use, useful during many trips and can be used year after year, so they gradually become an integral part of the good memories and emotions related to every trip.
