The 6.3 cm thick Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Insulated mummy sleeping mat has a dual layer of high resolution innovative Air Sprung Cells that can be pressurised independently and  provides the possibility to fine tune the level of comfort. Being part of the Insulated series this mat is filled with Themolite insulation to prevent convective heat transfer.

The Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Insulated mummy sleeping mat is one of the most sensitive and comfortable sleeping pads available. These mats are formed using Dual Layer construction - two independent, offset high resolution layers. The higher resolution cell matrices allow greater sensitivity by distributing your body weight and shape over more small cells. The air sprung cells on the top and bottom layers are offset to give more uniform insulation, preventing cold spots. In addition the mat’s firmness can be more finely tuned with Dual Layer construction – the bottom layer is inflated firm for height, then the top layer inflated to the desired comfort level and even if one layer is punctured, the other layer will provide redundancy, keeping you off the ground and sleeping uninterrupted.

The reason why you will sleep better on a Sea to Summit sleeping mat is due to the matrix of interconnected chambers called Air Sprung Cells. These cells operate in the same way as a pocket spring mattress, as each cell deforms independently, so the mattress conforms to your body shape. This makes for a softer and more comfortable feel with more body contact area and even dispersion of pressure.

This mat is part of the Insulated range of sleeping mats which benefit from thermal insulation technology. The Air Sprung Cells are filled with Thermolite insulation and covered with Exkin Platinum, a very lightweight, quiet non-woven fabric that has a thin metalised layer. Exkin Platinum and Thermolite are combined to efficiantly prevent convective heat transfer from the cold surface and reflect radiant heat loss back to the user.

Each Sea to Summit sleeping mat comes with a quality stuff sack and a small repair kit containing six self adhesive patches for repairing punctures in the eld, and a spare silicone one-way valve flap.
