Sea to Summit Ultra Light Air Sleeping Mat Insulated-Large

The 5 cm Ultra Light Insulated sleeping mat range has been tuned to give you the lightest and smallest pack-volume mat without compromising on Sea to Summit’s Air Sprung Cell comfort. Being part of the Insulated series this mat is filled with Themolite insulation to prevent convective heat transfer.

After careful development for more than four years Sea to Summit successfully launched the most innovative, comfortable, lightweight and compact sleeping mat range on the market. 

The Sea to Summit Ultra Light Insulated sleeping mat has been tuned to give you the lightest and smallest pack-volume mat without compromising on Sea to Summit’s Air Sprung Cell comfort. The tapered profile and Single Layer construction minimise weight and bulk. Single Layer construction uses a medium resolution cell matrix to gain sufficient thickness for great cushioning and support on uneven ground.

The reason why you will sleep better on a Sea to Summit sleeping mat is due to the matrix of interconnected chambers called Air Sprung Cells. These cells operate in the same way as a pocket spring mattress, as each cell deforms independently, so the mattress conforms to your body shape. This makes for a softer and more comfortable feel with more body contact area and even dispersion of pressure.

This mat is part of the Insulated range of sleeping mats which benefit from thermal insulation technology. The Air Sprung Cells are filled with Thermolite insulation and covered with Exkin Platinum, a very lightweight, quiet non-woven fabric that has a thin metalised layer. Exkin Platinum and Thermolite are combined to efficiantly prevent convective heat transfer from the cold surface and reflect radiant heat loss back to the user.

The Ultra Light is available in several diffrent model, in order to provide you with exactly what you need. You can find it in two sizes: Regular and Large, as well as with or without insulation. This sleeping mat is a perfect addition to a minimalist sleeping system and a great solution for backpackers.

Each Sea to Summit sleeping mat comes with a quality stuff sack and a small repair kit containing six self adhesive patches for repairing punctures in the eld, and a spare silicone one-way valve flap.
