The pants are made with a two-layer Bega Membrane Balanced™ fabric, featuring a 10,000 mm waterproof rating. It is waterproof, windproof, and breathable, providing reliable protection against unpredictable weather conditions. The outer fabric is treated with a PFAS-free DWR coating, which repels moisture while being environmentally friendly.

For comfort in cold conditions, the Oppdal Insulated Shell Pants feature integrated Bergans Arctic Insulation (80 g/m²), which retains warmth without adding unnecessary bulk. Ventilation zippers on the inner thighs allow for temperature regulation during more intense activity, while the elastic internal gaiters and reinforced cuffs protect against snow entry and wear from contact with ski boots.
