The materials are carefully selected to provide both protection and comfort. The jacket features a two-layer construction, with the outer layer made of 100% polyamide treated with a water-repellent finish free of harmful substances (PFAS free), combined with the brand’s patented Bega Membrane Balanced™ waterproof membrane. Bergans’ innovative Bega membranes are high-tech and come in several variants: Bega Bold Pro (for winter use and ski touring), Bega Breathe (for four-season professional use), and Bega Balanced – a lighter version designed for everyday wear and hiking. The Storetind Insulated Shell Jacket Junior offers a minimum water column of 10,000 mm and breathability over 10,000 g/m²/24h.
The inner lining is made of polyester, while the synthetic Bergans Arctic Insulation ensures warmth even in damp conditions.
