The upper of the Pace3 Men Nordic Traction is made of Ripstop textile, which is easy to maintain and resistant to mechanical damage. A rubber mudguard protects the material when moving over more technical, abrasive terrain. This IceBug winter trekking model is equipped with the Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort waterproof membrane, specially designed for cold and wet weather. It combines durable waterproofing and optimized breathability with high insulation to keep your feet warm and dry, even during extended periods outdoors.

The thicker sole includes a highly effective EVA midsole, which reduces impact stress and adds a rebound effect to every step. The midsole contains 20% BLOOM foam, derived from algae harmful to ocean ecosystems, but transformed into a foam with the same shock-absorbing and lightweight properties as EVA—without EVA’s harmful environmental effects (EVA is difficult to recycle and degrades slowly). The heel and toe areas are reinforced with a material containing 60% recycled plastic, of which 11–12% comes from recycled fishing nets. The OrthoLite Hybrid insole further enhances cushioning and is also made with 20% eco-friendly materials, certified by bluesign®.
