The men’s sports shoes Icebug Järv Gaiter M RB9X are a new offering from the Swedish brand, designed for light, comfortable, and fast running on mixed terrain. The Icebug Järv men’s sneakers became a bestseller in 2025, and this version offers a higher level of protection for the transitional seasons, when mountain conditions become more variable and include moisture, rain, fallen autumn leaves, and even sections with snow cover at higher altitudes. The autumn model features a built-in gaiter and, unlike the ultralight Järv RB9X, comes with a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane.

Despite the higher level of foot protection, these running shoes remain lightweight (just 369 g per shoe) and are equipped with a very stable and reliable outsole that provides excellent grip on slippery surfaces. The Icebug Järv Gaiter M RB9X combines new technologies, high durability, and eco-friendly construction.

This Icebug model was developed in collaboration with the Swedish running community with the goal of creating the perfect running shoes for long distances on challenging terrain. The outsole is Icebug’s classic RB9X sole – characterized by a special profile and a unique compound, already proven in previous models as exceptionally stable on all types of terrain, from wet rocks, grass, and mud in forest areas to snowy sections at higher mountain altitudes. It is the most reliable sole for surfaces that do not require crampons or studs.

The midsole is made of 66% Susterra – a special bio-based material derived from corn, which provides generous cushioning and efficient rebound without compromising stability with every step. The upper is made of a flexible yet very durable material that fits the foot like a sock while leaving enough room for the toes, ensuring your feet won’t tire even during long runs in the warmer part of the year.

The men’s sports shoes Icebug Järv Gaiter M RB9X are equipped with a waterproof Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane – the name comes from the ultralight construction of this type of membrane, which prevents overheating and ensures a high level of comfort. In addition, the design includes an elastic gaiter that blocks moisture, pebbles, sand, and dirt while running – an extra feature that is especially practical for the autumn-winter season.
