This midsole contains 20% BLOOM foam, derived from algae harmful to the oceans, yet allowing the creation of foam with the same shock-absorbing and lightweight properties as EVA, but without the harmful environmental effects of EVA (which is difficult to recycle and decomposes slowly). The OrthoLite Hybrid insole further enhances the cushioning effect – it is also made from 20% eco-friendly materials with a bluesign certification.
