Teva is an American brand of sports sandals and lightweight shoes for rugged terrain with a history spanning over 40 years. It all began on the banks of the Grand Canyon back in 1984, when a rafting instructor, tired of losing his flip-flops in the river current, used two velcro straps from old watches to secure them—thus creating the first Teva sandals. In the years that followed, the brand maintained its pioneering spirit, continually incorporating the latest high-quality materials and technologies. By 1991, Teva became a global hit and has remained at the top ever since. The brand focuses on movement and sport anywhere without limitations, embracing a minimalist style that allows feet to stay connected to the ground while being well-protected from rough terrain.
